It was a quarter past west, the town came to life

Description

As a kid I was a fan of 'where is Waldo' books. I can recall lying on the couch in my parents room, staring at those pictures for hours. I found it so amazing how many stories and scenario's one person could put in a drawing.

Now that I have the skills myself however I realize my assumption that there's a story behind every scenario was a bit off. Turns out you just have to draw random things that float into your mind. Not think of every story behind the windows in detail. See that giant woodpecker? I have no idea why it's there. I don't know where the flying boat is going, or why the hell that one guy is running across the roof carrying a swordfish.

The scenario's are there, there just aren't any stories.
Naturally, I still want to know the stories. So I wondered, maybe you have them?

All right, this is the idea. If you happen to watch this drawing. see one of the many bizarre scenario's, if you are a writer, wanna-be writer, capable of typing English or whatever and this drawing sparks a story somewhere in the back of your mind, listen.
I would like to make this drawing a sort of hatrack for short stories. So if you write a short story, based on any of these scenario's, please write it down and send it to me. Either submit it or put it in the comments below this drawing. I will feature it, permanently, right here. Maybe all together we can truly make this town come to life! Who's in!
